VSC user workshop in Neusiedl am See, February 24-25, 2014
The focus of the workshop will be the new VSC-3 system, addressing issues of current and future users of the VSC, and the introduction of the VSC Research Center.
The workshop will take place February 24-25, 2014, at 
Hotel Wende, Seestraße 40, 7100 Neusiedl am See. Please note that the nearest railway station is 'Neusiedl am See Bad' with direct connections from 'Wien Hauptbahnhof'. The workshop is scheduled to start at 10:30 a.m. on the 24th and hence you may optionally arrive already on the 23rd.
There will be talks, poster sessions, and discussions about the following topics:
* Technical specifications and usage of VSC-3.
* Security issues and best practices.
* VSC Research Center - presentation of projects.
* Current and future projects on the VSC.
* State-of-the-art HPC technologies (CPUs, Xeon Phi, GPUs, networks, storage, software, etc.).
All presentations will be given in English.
